A list of the best, free online humanitarian training in Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Child Protection
Following my blog on World Humanitarian Day 2022 (19th of August) and subsequent post on LinkedIn, I received a lot of requests for more domain-specific MOOCs and training materials. I had lists on my computer I shared with many people already privately over the last years; with trusted online humanitarian learning opportunities. Since I compiled lists and sending emails for such a long time to support all that reached out, hereby sharing a new list regarding training, MOOCs and key resources in GBV (Gender based Violence) in Humanitarian Settings and Child Protection. Close to my heart, maybe because I am a woman, but also since my last project with MSF over ten years ago in the Democratic Republic of Congo has been a VVF project (vesicovaginal fistula).
As per my earlier post it’s all about knowledge, and sharing what is public is critical. Having access to education and train yourself online, in your own pace, is the beauty of our current digital age. I am sure I am missing many MOOCs and other training material. Please reach out to me so we can together keep on expanding these lists!
